MOBILESIGHT ARCHIVE VIDEOBASE
The MobileSight system consists of a PC server computer (Windows 2000/2003 server PC, XP or Windows 2K Professional platform) that continuously records (archives) live video. The video can be received over the LAN, WAN or the Internet and is stored in a Windows SQL or Oracle database. With Windows SQL or Oracle, there is virtually no limit to the size or location of the database of video. In addition, the Windows SQL or Oracle open architecture provides the ability to store and retrieve other video archived in additional SQL Videobases. The MobileSight Videobase is an enterprise class archiving and retrieval system that can store and play back images from any number of sources. Whether you need 30 frames per second or more, the storage frame rate of the MobileSight system is limited only by the number and speed of the cameras, server processors, controllers, channels and hard disk transfer rates. The database is archived on internal PC hard disk drives, Network Attached Storage Devices or Storage Area Network Devices which are configured for each system and are available in many sizes to accommodate virtually unlimited storage. Every system can store days, weeks, months or years of video, (as a function of the number of cameras recording, storage frame rates and the use of motion detection), directly on the storage system for immediate retrieval and playback.
